With the newly redesigned Accent, Hyundai has a good valued subcompact car which beats its rivals in size and styling. It is offered two ways, as a 4-door sedan and a 5-door hatchback, latter of which makes a real statement design-wise. 2015 Hyundai Accent offers solid, but not extravagant drive. Exterior design is really good for a compact, and its inside is solidly finished as well. Fuel economy ratings are its forte, but the biggest advantages Hyundai Accent 2015 has are its price and size which is much bigger than in the rest of the subcompact market competitors’ vehicles.
2015 Hyundai Accent review
Exterior
The new 2015 Hyundai Accent comes with minor design changes. Exterior design is perky enough for a subcompact and Accent features open-mouth hexagonal front end fascia with split bumper. Roundly trapezoid headlights and crescent-like available foglights look quite well on Hyundai’s first real design statement. Hatchback is finished with a good looking, big vertically positioned curved tail-lights and a sturdy bumper, while sedan follows slightly more conventional, but still quite good routine.
Interior
The Hyundai Accent 2015 Interior styling doesn’t bring anything out of the ordinary. Hard plastic layout and cloth door panel inserts might feel a little bit rugged, but for a price range Accent fits in, it is still a good job done by the Koreans. There’s no leather at all and the most you’ll get are premium cloth upholstery in the SE models. Cabin itself is offered two ways, in terms of color arrangements.
New Hyundai Accent colors
The 2015 Hyundai Accent is available in 7 different colors: Century White, Ironman Silver, Triathlon Gray, Ultra Black, Boston Red, Pacific Blue and Vitamin C. All models have 172-watt audio system in six speakers with MP3 and SiriusXM capability, plus they all offer USB port and auxiliary input jacks. Safety features are basic, and you won’t find anything else beside six airbags, anti-lock brakes and stability control.
Hyundai Accent 2015 specs
All 2015 Hyundai Accent models, regardless of body style are fitted with the same 1.6-liter inline-4 engine which makes up to 137 horsepower and 123 lb-ft of torque. 2015 Hyundai Accent mpg and price
Hyundai Accent 2015 excels in fuel efficiency as both sedan and hatchback are rated at 27 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway with manual transmission while with automatic transmission those numbers are lowered by one point. These aren’t the best in-class numbers, but are competitive nevertheless. Affordable base 2015 Hyundai Accent costs $14,745 or $14,895 in sedan or hatch form respectively. Premium SE hatchback is a tad more expensive and has a price tag of $17,495.
